The NetDB VM was created on VMWARE Fusion and converted to OVF format using the OVF conversion tool. You'll need to configure a list of devices and configure your switch credentials in the config file to get started. I recommend that you run the aptitude security updates and secure the VM by changing the passwords as soon as possible. You'll also want to sudo su netdb, change to the /opt/netdb/ directory and run an svn update to get the latest revision of the version you are on. - Boot the VM on the network or locally - Login via SSH as netdbadmin password adminchangeme - Follow the instructions in the VMWARE-README document in netdbadmin's home folder to kickstart the VM setup. - Links to the configuration files are in netdbadmin's home folder. - The SSL Webserver is available, https://netdb_IP/ (credentials are in the VMWARE-README on the server)
