You are recommended to uninstall the previous version using Control Panel first
After uninstall, check
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\ASCOM\SafetyMonitor
for a sub folder named mysqmplus
If the folder exists, delete it

If the files
ASCOM.mySQMPLUS.SafetyMonitor.dll
mySQMPLUS-ASCOM-SM-Readme.htm
exist in the folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\ASCOM\SafetyMonitor
then delete them

Once that is done, install the new driver by running the setup program
mySQMPLUS-ASCOM-SM-xxx.exe
