Mundus OS is an extension to Ubuntu which is easier to use for a new Linux user. Mundus OS can install Windows programs, mount Macintosh dmg's, install the packages of other non-Debian Linux distributions, and is meant to be "out of the box".

User Reviews

  • I like your motivation, but as you've heard: it is not worthy to be a distribution ;) BUT you can always apply you ideas to the standard ubuntu edition as a package!
  • It's seems not like a new Linux OS. It's just a UBUNTU with a few packages attached onto it.
  • Shocking. Just Ubuntu with a few apps tacked onto it. With a bit of work though this project shows promise. Have you tried Ubuntu Customization Kit?
