A cross-platform implementation of the Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol as defined in 802.1Q-2011. It's written in C++ and has a C interface.
I integrated the library myself in devices with RSTP used in ship automation, military equipment, avionics. I'm aware of it being used in other products as well.
You're going to need some driver code for your particular switch IC. Drop me a message at firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll try to help.
I also developed a Simulator application for Windows, with graphics showing how the STP algorithm reconfigures the network when cables are added/removed.
We were successful in using this library in our embedded design and with the testing we've done with other switch manufacturers, so far so good. We are very pleased with the performance and operation of the library. I would recommend the library without hesitation, well done Adi and think you so much for sharing this library. You certainly made my job a lot easier.
