Hello! I like your programs, but I actually have a question. How can I activate Stereo 3D MODs: I want to watch an OU movie, mainly on a VR headset from PC, but if I select the option, nothing happens, neither on the headset screen nor on the 2D monitor. Thank you!

Used to be my No. 1 player. But at some point in the middle of last year, the developers made PGS or other rasterized subs render relative to the video frame and there's no way to modify this behavior, which makes it extremely unfriendly on Ultra Wide Screens. So, I've switched to MPC-HC as my main player for more than half a year. But I also occasionally use MPC-BE for watching YT. What a pity that a good player was handicapped by such a problem.

Excellent software, only thing I would ask for is the playlist can be shown on the Right or Left in the window like the old windows player 12. When watching videos with a playlist at the bottom this makes the the image small. I use the play list to see the names of my files when reviewing videos for editing i can have like 20 or so in the list at a time sometimes more. Other wise great keep up the good work.

Best free media player. Better than VLC because it uses DXVA2 with LAV Decoder. Can be configured in a way that it behaves same ways as VLC with mouse wheel for volume and double click for full screen view. I use the 64 bit version with windows 11.

the only reason to use any mpc fork over vlc was the less cumbersome option to bind additional mouse keys comparatively effortlessly from the program itself. that option was removed. bravo. oh well, it was time to move on ten years ago, and now i have enough of a reason. rip in urine.

The only reason why I still use MPC-HC is because I can set a priority order for subs based on languages. I don't know why this feature was removed in MPC-BE. If it had it, I would definitely make the switch.

I'm using the portable version, but every time I update I lose my playlist and I have to re-write them. How can I keep my lists even if I update the program?

Excellent Project, meets all the expectations expected as a user. I would like to know if the project is capable of adapting to new functionalities, perhaps to increase the playback speed. And please help me with the repository, I would be interested to know how you are working. Very interesting project !.

The BEST media player, however...it crashes when I try to share the video thru Discord. Also, it would be nice to have a shortcut to toggle between Video Frame settings. I use Normal Size 1080p videos and Double Size for 480p videos. And also, being able to triple, quadruple, etc, would be nice for 4K and 8K monitors and TVs. Therefore, instead of my suggested toggle, I would rather suggest just an easy way to multiply the resolution. Maybe by pressing the number keys?

Simple to use and Powerful

Frustrating, same mpc problem. >mpc-be crashes; >windows looking for solutions; >doesn't play videos anymore; Just that re-registering the codecs doesn't work anymore, if you need to keep hoping it never crashes, it's better to use another player. Reinstall the program, reinstall codecs, restart the pc, it's not acceptable in 2021, it crashed, okay, close the program window and when you open the next video it has to work.

Hands Down Best Media Player !!! Used Alot of other players, but MPC-BE is on the top of my list. I Thank You Very Much to everyone involved, and I truly appreciate all your hard work !!!

I want to decide the setting value of the speed step "automatic" by myself. Currently, it is 0.25, 0.5, 1.0, 1.2, 1.5, 2.0, 4.0, 8.0, 16.0 ... I use speed changes a lot.
