User Reviews

  • It will not run on macOS 10.13.6 (High Sierra). I get the message "You can't use this version of the application "MorseTrainer.app" with this version of macOS." I eMailed Jon Nall but no response as yet.
  • I've used this application for years and just love it. I use it to write cw letters, to generate sounds for my alarm app (in conjunction with Audio Hijack) and think you won't find a better app for this application. It generates cw either randomly or per a text file, which you can name, and can include the prosigns in addition to punctuation. It includes noise injection, tone control, and just about any feature you can desire. It works across all the modern mac platforms. What could be sweeter? Great Job AD5RX. This one is out of the park.
  • First let me say I appreciate all of your work on this project. There has not been a good free Morse code trainer for Mac for quite some time. I like the interface however, I would like to see flash cards added as an option. I use the old Super Morse 4.16 in DOS sometimes with the flash option at seriously high speeds. This has increased my ability to copy code at much higher speeds above just copying QSO's and text over and over. Also, the flash option is absolutely essential for use in hypnosis based training of Morse Code. I look forward to future updates, if you require a copy of the old Super Morse 4.16 to view an example, don't hesitate to contact me. Please keep up the good work, don't let the small number of downloads fool you, there are people who wish to remain proficient at Morse code as well as beginner interest. Overall, nice interface, and a good feel, easy to navigate and easy to use. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give it a 7, if it had the flash card individual character viewing option, it would receive a 9 out of 10. Great job! Also: The icon on the Morse Trainer app cannot be edited/changed to... a Morse Code key?? 73' haans )
