_____How to install MobiLinux 12 (pristine)_____

This version has been recreated from scratch so it is super-fast and more reliable than the previous version.

New Stuff:
  1. Xfce Desktop Manager – lightweight but still has lots of features
  2. WLAN, EV-DO / HSDPA Data monitor in taskbar
  3. Battery Metter works
  4. Open office has been removed for disk space; you can reinstall it 
if you wish to do so.
  5. Lot of free disk space
  6. Uses less memory because gnome has been removed
  7. lboot has been integrated to make it easy to start-up
  8. Setup script has been added so you can easily setup time zone, 
display size and other stuff
  9. Aptitude and aptitude-gtk are installed
  10. Lots of web browsers included for choses
  11. Includes recovery and repair
  12. Tundra and PC File Manager are installed
  13. Better proc integration to Linux so applications can detect 
hardware better
  14. Display resolution is 1366x768

Stuff that still doesn't work:
  1. Drag and drop (I will be looking into a diffent vnc backend or even 
using a x server app on android)
  2. Some GTK+ themes will cause some programs to crash
  3. Audio
  4. Some problems when copy from rootfs to sdcard with in the file 
manager
  5. No x render extention
  6. Package managers are extremely slow

PASSWORD FOR SSH AND VNC IS "mobilinux" RUN SETUP TO CHANGE THEM

How to Install"
  1. Download rootfs.lbd, lboot.zip
  2. Make a ".linux" folder in your SD Card
  3. Move the rootfs.lbd & Extract the lboot.zip to ".linux"
  4. Move the lboot file to "/system/bin" (REMOUNT SYSTEM)(cp 
/sdcard/.linux/lboot /system/bin)
  5. Make lboot executable (chmod +x /system/bin)

How to run & initial setup
  1. Open a terminal emulator and type "lboot"
  2. In the menu type "1" and press enter
  3. Open a VNC Viewer on your phone and connect to localhost and use 
max color settings
  4. Or if you are using a PC connect to your phones ip address (listed 
then you boot the os)
  5. Once you are at the screen click "default"
  6. Once you are at the desktop double click on "run setup" this will 
let you change your password's and set your timezone, you can delete it 
afterwords
  7. All Done, to shutdown just type exit in the terminal and close your 
terminal emulator
