This is the new Might and Magic Level Editor project, which replaces MM8LevelEditor.
It does some things that MM8LevelEditor 3.47 cannot do, and does not do some things which MM8LevelEditor 3.47  can do.

Currently editing MM6 outdoor maps is partially supported.
Editing MM7 outdoor maps MM7 is experimentally supported.

A) Install Java 1.6

B) Unpack lods for MM6


	option 1) Install AutoLOD.exe (one of Sergey's tools) and run it once to extract all files. (RECOMMENDED)

		Right now, final result must look like this.  See "example.game_folder.extracted-windows.txt" or "example.game_folder.extracted-linux.txt" for listing from my system.

C) Click on the "MMLevelEditor.exe" (for Windows) executable in the MMLevelEditor folder.
