  • feat: Added msr("best_valid_score") (mlr_measures_best_valid_score), which reports the best internal validation score observed during training/
  • feat: Added the diabetes task (mlr_tasks_diabetes) for the synthetic mlbench::SynthDiabetes2 data set, which has the same structure as the former pima task including missing values, for use in examples and tests.
  • BREAKING CHANGE: Removed the pima task (mlr_tasks_pima) because the PimaIndiansDiabetes2 data set was removed from the mlbench package, use tsk("diabetes") instead.
  • perf: TaskClassif$print() now caches the class distribution of the target column and only recomputes it when the task hash changes. Querying the target column can be slow for tasks with many rows.
