Tracker Addon Shell Interface
Description: CLI Tracker add-on launcher
Launch Tracker addons from the command-line, (AKA the Terminal, or the 'shell'), or more importantly, from scripts.
Personally, I wanted to launch 'Tracker Grep' on my mp3 catalog files, (to find which CD a certain song is on), by way of a script, instead of the tedious routine of opening the folder and running the Tracker addon.
Syntax: Tracker_Addon_Shell_Interface /path/to/Tracker_Addon /path/to/file_1 ...
Notes: The addon will inherit (do it's work in) the current working directory.
Before running T.A.S.I. + addon on a set of files, 'cd' to the parent folder of the files, to avoid confusing the addon.
The addon may very well expect that the dir_ref it receives is always the parent dir of the file references, which may not be the case, when using Tracker Addon Shell Interface.
Adapted and packaged for Haiku by Michel Clasquin-Johnson. Tested on Haiku R1/beta 5 x86_64.
