1) To install boot to your usb thumb drive or DVD you created from iso image.

2) When login screen appears click session and choose MATE as your first login.

3) Use "custom" without "" as your username and hit enter. No password needed.

4) It will take a few minutes to complete initial bootup but when you see the
desktop their will be an Install mintyMac icon on desktop. Double click or
right click and open to start the self explanitory installer. thats it 

ENJOY!

On second screen of installer it will ask if you want to update during install
and also if you want to install extras (like MP3 decoders etc.) LEAVE THESE UNCHECKED!
These extras are already installed for you anyway.

It should work fine if you do choose to however,
install will be alot faster if you don't.
