  • Это платная программа! Shareware!
  • Pure deception! This is not free software, but freeware.
  • Occasionally the editor gets the tempo messed up, there's nothing I can do to fix it. I've tried to fix it but it just messes it up more. Please fix.

  • Ótimo editor de arquivos midi. Também pode gravar e reproduzi-los. Eu uso este programa em minhas experiências musicais com sucesso.
  • Spend more time trying to figure out how to edit events and little time actually making music. Nice interface and can quickly create material using my keystation keyboard and old dr-5 drum machine as soundbase but editing is terribly slow. I just save it and use a different editor, I only use midieditor because of its ability to easily connect devices so I can hear what I'm playing/recording in real time. UPDATE: Wish to upgrade my original review. Checked out a youtube tutorial on how to edit and found what I needed to help me. Actually is not bad, still kind of slow but I will use this program more and it will do all I need it to do. Actually a pretty good program, sorry if my frustrations with it early on led to a 2 star review.
  • Very good program! It's simple and easy to use, I have lots of good memories with this program!
  • I'm so glad to find a free program that allows me to make music. And It's really well-made. My only problem is this: When I write two or more of the same note playing directly next to other, then I save the file, when I reload it, the string of notes is replaced with one long note that has 0-second-long notes where the partitions between the notes used to be. This makes it frustrating when I want to spam one note, but then I have to painstakingly rewrite it whenever I reload it. Again, thank you so much for creating this program and I would appreciate if this issue is fixed!
  • MidiEditor crashes every time I select all the velocities (Ctrl-A) and then try and change them
  • Simply excellent, esp. as an Editor for Piano MIDI files :-) Wishlist: - some marks on the piano keyboard band on the left for the highest and lowest available key on a 88-key-instrument (highest: C8, lowest: A0) - a zoom-preset utility, so you don't have to zoom in and out individually each time you launch MidiEditor - a possibility to choose custom colors for the MIDI events (orange is ok as a default color, but *any* color gets annoying eventually ;-) )
  • Lot of work is in this new Version. Very good work! One of the best Midi editors i've ever seen.
  • Very good on Ubuntu 12.4.

  • No problem downloading Windows binary. Simple to use, no frills. Great for quick edits or composition. I expect I will use it extensively with commercial software that does not provide as simple an interface.
  • Unable to rate it, because unable to get it. As release 2.0.0 is qualified as "stable", please provide a tarball with source files (not every people are familiar with SVN/CVS/Bazaar/Git/...). The website states "To download the sourcecode please visit the project page.", which redirects to the SF site for the project. And the only available download options available on the "Download" section is for a Windows EXE or a DEB (for Debian-like only Linux distros) package. If an RPM is not yet available, at least source files should be available. Or if you intend not make them available, please state it.
