Dasm v1.0 Assembler & Disassembler for Mesa Electronics VHDL CPU

Zip file provided but the most current version is always in subversion.

Project page: http://sourceforge.net/projects/mesaasm/

I try to keep both linux and windows build working at the same state,
but linux development is the priority. The code is 99% function but
it is still to be considered a work in progress. Only simple expressions
work, (BIGVAL >> 8) is ok ((BIGVAL >> 8) & 0xff) is not!

I am doing my best with the manual, please send me an email
regarding any functional errors. Read the example .dasm files for more!!!

usb_lbp.dasm example is a work in progress.

Requires bison and flex to build dasm. disasm does
not (currently) need bison or flex.

I installed bison-2.4.1-setup.exe and flex-3.5.4a-1.exe in that order to
C:\GnuWin32 and added to the path C:\GnuWin32\bin. If you use DJGPP or
WinAVR packages that include Bison or Flex, this install version is
more recent. I can't speak to any effects on other packages.

Linux (32 & 64 bit)
make
./dasm dis.dasm dis.lst

Windows XP Visual Studio 2005 command line shell, others should work.
nmake -f NMakefile
dasm dis.dasm dis.lst

To disassemble Mesa produced vhdl file:
disasm usbrom.vhd > usbrom.dasm

Read the bottom of the dissassembled output file for notes!

The disassembler assumes line 21 contains the '(' which starts the
hex contents! This location may change at Mesa's chosing. Dasm would
then require new prolog and epilog files for produce compatible output.

was actually borrowed.
