  • Just what we needed to generate DDL from MS Access on Linux. Works perfectly.

  • Program crashes with a memory error on large files. I tried to extract data from a 1.8GB file, but it crashes with a memory allocation error: (process:4878): GLib-ERROR (recursed) **: gmem.c:239: failed to allocate 4096 bytes aborting... This happened using the command-line tool mdb-export.
  • Extremely useful project. Moving tables from Access to LibreOffice Base worked very well indeed. It would be good if LibreOffice's Base team took note and used your libraries to make the import even easier.
  • Superb project, many thanks for discussing
  • What a lifesaver!
  • good job
  • All I ever wanted from Access was to get data out of it... without having to go to a Windows machine. Works like a charm. Great to see an ODBC driver in the works so there might be hope for an R/Python interface to Access on Linux.
  • Perfect! We would need to be able to write.
