MBZ Moodle Restore Files

MBZRestore (beta version)

Two versions are included for Windows 32-bit and 64-bit:
MBZRestore.exe
MBZRestorex64.exe

They have been tested only on Windows 10

Restore name of original files from MBZ Moodle Backup file.
MBZ Restore is an application that performs the extraction and restoration of the original name of the Moodle backup file.
Newer versions of Moodle backup generate file names that do not easily identify with the original files. Files can be renamed by hand but you have to find out what their original name is. This application does this for you.


This version is beta.
Delphi is being developed and the Source Code may be released later.
Translations have been added to the languages:
-English
-French
-Spanish
-Valenciano from Valencia (Spain).



The author is not responsible for the loss of data from user files.
The moodle backup file is not modified. The extracted files are extracted and renamed.
As a precaution, make backup copies of the backup files.

Moodle is a platform for education. Sometimes we have old security files from us or provided by others. MBZ Restore opens the backup files with the * .mbz extension and restores with the correct names.

Some very old versions of moodle save the files with their original name. If you have a version of these features, unzip with any ZIP archive program and extract the files manually.
