VirusShare.com (@VXShare) hash sets are converted to Autopsy, EnCase, RAW (import to most forensic applications, e.g. AXIOM) and XWays format with known hash values removed.  They will be provided when possible and when a significate hash update is available (=>4 releases).  To be current, all available releases must be downloaded, i.e., v.20XX_QX with any available updates.  Please note, the false positive hit rate of the VirusShare.com hash set has been diminished but not removed entirely.  Verify positive hash value hits via VirusTotal or other threat intelligence tools.

Summary 2023 Q2 Release  (v.2023_Q2):

In this quarterly release (v.2023_Q2, 30 July 2023), all VirusShare.com hash values (0-475) were combined and duplicates were removed (3).  v.RDS_2023.06.1 (Android, iOS, Legacy, Modern (All Minimal-RDSv3)) were compared to the unique set and matches were removed (22,304).  Additionally, the HashSets.com (12 July 2023) White Hash Set was compared to the unique set and matches were removed (238).  The zero-byte hash was also removed (D41D8CD98F00B204E9800998ECF8427E).  The new refined release contains a total of 40,937,452 potentially notable values.
