Hi ... I give a just 3 star ..but i want to add 4 or 5... BUT ..this is PUBLIC PROTEST from me and i think many other folks with older hardware WHY there is no download of older Makulu releases like Makulu 8 LxFce ..what is here is only latest release.. So please upload somwhere older versions ..thanks!!!

Cannot get electra to wake up.It picks up everything in terminal in test mode. So I know mic is working. Other than that it is stunning.

This distro impresses me. The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is that its Gnome-based infrastructure (and the fact that key components, such as the interface customizations available in the Shift edition rely on Gnome extensions in some part) makes me feel as though there could be issues with features breaking every time Gnome makes an update. Not the fault of the Makulu team, just a fact of life with Gnome unfortunately. That said though, it is quite obvious that the Makulu team not only care about aesthetics and user-focused design, but are actually quite skilled in these areas also. It's a beautiful distro, and I've never been greeted by a full-screen welcome tutorial video when booting into a new distro before this. Good stuff!

I came across MakuluLinux as a reference to "leaving Windows xp", I already use Fedora, so I downloaded a copy for my wife. It is a very pretty distribution. It is what I term beautiful. I installed it twice. The first time as a beta, and the second as the bug fixed released product. I had absolutely no issues with the second installation. It functions well, I will be showing it to retired seniors who want to learn about Linux and the web. The author needs some compassionate donation financial support. The corona virus has consequences. I did my share.

I have tried many different distros. This one is stunning. I was very impressed with it actually. I will say though, i don't like docks but its easy enough to get rid of. I read that it isn't just an Ubuntu/Debian/Mint base with different themes. I couldn't agree more. It is very well done. I can see the extra effort put into this, unlike a lot of distros that are just re-themed versions of something else. This definitely stands out, yet I can still use Debian language in the terminal and it works, but it has a feel all it's own.

Some of the nicest software ever. I used USB and had to use safe mode to get to desktop to install. A little bloat, but I like to have those things not totally familiar to me. I can always remove them later.

One of the best operating systems. Makululinux is a modern and beautiful Linux distro. It includes everything you need for a office or home computing.

I have installed and now using MakuluLinux-10-Aero Distro(Test Build). The Aesthetics are very good and similar to Windows 7. It is very Fast,light,very responsive and also looks good. It has all the power of Debian. I Quit Windows one year before because of Virus and Piracy Problems(My Wife wrongly clicked the Windows Update popped up in the Windows 7's system Tray).I thought of trying Windows 8.1 Operating System a week before. Really, MakuluLinux 10 Aero made me to forget Installing windows 8.1(Entering Windows World once again). Kudos and Thumbs UP to the developer 'Jacque Montague Raymer'. I encourage all people to try MakuluLinux Aero Edition Atleast Once. Really, It is Worth of it.

MakuluLinux developed by Jacque Raimer is a truely Linux on the edge. It is both graphically stunning and highly original in its approach and choice of software. This XFCE edition is very fast in its installation and ability to run Rolling distributions aren't for every Linux user but for me, Makulu rocks
