Magnetissimo 3.0 is a rewrite. Search once, and it asks eight torrent sites' own search at the same time, indexes every magnet link they hand back, and slides the new results into the page as each site answers.
:::bash
docker pull ghcr.io/sergiotapia/magnetissimo:3.0.0
See the README for the compose file. It runs on amd64 and arm64 with nothing to configure.
What's new
- Eight sources: YTS, Nyaa.si, Sukebei, TorrentDownloads, AudioBookBay, The Pirate Bay, EZTV and OxTorrent.
- Sites are asked only when someone searches. 2.0 polled every site every five minutes, and Nyaa and AudioBookBay started dropping our connections. Now each site gets at most two searches at a time, a second apart, and a term that was just answered is served from the index for 15 minutes.
- A Torznab indexer at
/apifor Sonarr, Radarr, Lidarr, Prowlarr and the book managers, plus the JSON API for scripts. - Torznab categories everywhere. Every torrent is filed under the standard category list, whatever the source called it.
- Search that copes with real names:
spider-manfindsSpider.Man.2002, and CJK fragments match without spaces. It also supports operators no source has:"exact text",-exclude,a|b,s01e*, plus size, seeder and age limits. - Works without JavaScript. Every control is a link or a GET form, and with JavaScript on, results stream in live.
- A new look: corporate Y2K glass, with light, dark and follow-the-system themes.
- One SQLite database and a self-contained release that migrates, seeds and generates its own secret on boot.
Upgrading from 2.0
3.0 keeps its own SQLite database and doesn't read a 2.0 install's data. Start it fresh, and the index fills as you search.
