MacPad 1.2.1

MacPad is a small native macOS plain-text editor inspired by Windows Notepad.

Changes

  • Changed the project license to Apache License 2.0.
  • Included the license text inside the packaged app.
  • Editor behavior is unchanged from MacPad 1.2.0.

Install

  1. Download MacPad-macOS-universal.zip.
  2. Extract it and move MacPad.app to Applications.
  3. If macOS warns that the app is from an unidentified developer, right-click MacPad and choose Open once.

Requires macOS 14 or later. The app supports Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
