  • I have searched for years and still have not found an SRT file maker as easy as Subtitle Studio; for the case where I have a text transcript/lyric file, and I want to quickly synchronize it to a video. I copy/paste the lyrics into Subtitle Studio and then while the video is playing, press "S" at every start and stop time. That gives me an SRT file that roughly works. Fine tuning the wrong timings is not that easy - I mostly do a few runs until it seems accurate enough, and then manually edit the SRT file to add extra corrections where needed. I've been using it now for many years, doing about 5-10 videos per year.
  • Not bad but video preview need better suport for containers and codec. With *.avi working without problem.
