LuxOS is a Linux operating system with a lightweight, fast-performing and energy-saving desktop environment. Its based upon Lubuntu LTS which based on LXDE (Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment) and Ubuntu/Debian itself.
LuxOS extends the features of Lubuntu with a lot of popular and useful software. It is also suitable for computers with low hardware specifications, such as netbooks or older computers.
