Loki Mode Files

MINOR release. 8 coordinated improvements landed via parallel sub-agent fleet. Closes most of the v7.5.12 council-deferred backlog and the v7.5.14 sentrux follow-ups. Zero breaking changes; every new behavior is opt-in or additive.

Added

• Sentrux iteration-loop wire-in (autonomy/run.sh, opt-in via LOKI_SENTRUX_GATE=1, default OFF). Two helper functions (_loki_sentrux_iteration_start, _loki_sentrux_iteration_end) save a baseline at iteration start and emit a structured Finding JSON to .loki/state/findings-sentrux-<iter>.json on DEGRADED verdict. No-op when sentrux not on PATH; single env-check cost when flag unset. Tests: tests/test-sentrux-iteration-wireup.sh (7/7 PASS).
• Dashboard /api/quality/architecture endpoint (dashboard/server.py). Globs .loki/state/findings-sentrux-*.json, returns sorted series with {series, current, samples} shape. Resilient to missing dir, empty state, corrupt files, non-object payloads. Tests: 5/5 PASS.
• loki sentrux init-rules [<path>] [--force] (autonomy/loki cmd_sentrux). Scaffolds a conservative .sentrux/rules.toml with max_cycles=0, no_god_files=true, max_cc=30 and commented layer-enforcement examples. Refuses to overwrite existing files unless --force. Tests: 9/9 PASS.
• loki doctor --json includes sentrux state (autonomy/loki + loki-ts/src/commands/doctor.ts). New top-level sentrux field {found, version, status, required: "optional"}. Sibling of checks/disk -- intentionally NOT counted in summary so existing dashboard consumers remain byte-compatible. bun-parity matrix passes. Tests: 13/13 PASS.
• Escalations sidebar UI (dashboard-ui/components/loki-escalations.js). Surfaces the existing /api/escalations server-side feature that had no UI. Polls list, click to view markdown body, keyboard shortcut e. Tests: 13/13 PASS.
• loki web and loki dashboard --help clarification (autonomy/loki). Each command's help block now explains the relationship between the two (Purple Lab on port 57375 vs Operations Dashboard on port 57374) -- closes the v7.5.12 UAT "loki web vs dashboard confusion" gap.
• .github/workflows/sentrux-real.yml -- new workflow, manual
• nightly schedule, runs tests/integration/test_sentrux_real.sh against the real binary on Linux. continue-on-error: true, does not block any other workflow.

Fixed

• Pytest gate timeout wrapper (autonomy/run.sh enforce_test_coverage + new _loki_run_pytest_with_timeout). Wraps the pytest invocation with gtimeout/timeout (configurable via LOKI_PYTEST_TIMEOUT, default 300s). Distinguishes exit code 124 (timeout) from genuine test failure. Degrades gracefully when neither timeout binary is available. Closes Triage [#14]. Tests: 5/5 PASS.
• Episode JSON load resilience (memory/storage.py _load_json). Per-file try/except now catches json.JSONDecodeError, UnicodeDecodeError, and OSError. Logs a warning, skips the file, continues -- one corrupt file no longer breaks the entire memory load. All callers (engine.py, retrieval.py, consolidation.py) inherit the fix via the centralized loader. Closes Triage [#15]. Tests: 8/8 PASS.
• Linux CI coverage for sentrux unit test (tests/run-all-tests.sh + scripts/local-ci.sh). The bash-only tests/test-sentrux-gate.sh was not in the explicit Linux test runner allow-list; now it is. Real-binary integration test correctly remains gated to the new manual workflow. Tests: 4/4 PASS.
• All 7 new v7.5.15 test suites wired into tests/run-all-tests.sh. Devil's Advocate review caught that 7 of 8 new tests were only invoked manually and would silently rot. Fixed via direct registration plus two small wrapper scripts (tests/dashboard/run_quality_architecture_tests.sh, tests/memory/run_episode_load_resilience_tests.sh) so the bash runner surfaces pytest failures alongside bash failures. Final tests/run-all-tests.sh exit: 24/25 PASS (the single failure is pre-existing pip install mcp env gap on the dev machine, unrelated to this release).

Verified locally before push

• All 7 new test suites green: 15+9+7+13+5+13+4 = 66/66 PASS.
• bash scripts/local-ci.sh -- 20/20 PASS (will re-verify after final release commit).
• All branches merged via 6 standard git merge --no-ff operations; the remaining 2 worktrees applied via inspected cp of specific files.
• bash -n clean on every modified shell script.
• bun run typecheck + bun run build clean; loki-ts/dist/loki.js rebuilt.

NOT in this release (honest list, in CHANGELOG for traceability)

• "Parent-shell exit dependency" (v7.5.12 UAT item [#2]). Requires deeper investigation of dashboard daemonization (setsid/disown/proper fork); Dev5 explicitly punted to avoid regressing loki dashboard stop PID tracking.
• Bash-to-Bun migration Phases 2-6 (the published ADR-001 roadmap is ~13 weeks, can't be combined with this release).
• RARV-C Part B Phases 2-5 (groundedness, OTel bridge, typed tasks, gateway routing) -- Phase 1 needs to ship first.
• 4th reviewer agent calling sentrux MCP (the 9 MCP tools need their own verification cycle).
• Counter-evidence proof type 'sentrux-clean' -- depends on the RARV-C Phase 1 override council code that doesn't exist on main yet.
• Per-framework app-runner detection (Next.js/Nuxt/Astro/SvelteKit -- each needs research and fixtures).
• pip PEP 668 / venv detection (Triage [#5]) -- needs design discussion.
• Ruby/Elixir/Java/PHP detection (Triage [#6]) -- 4 independent helpers.
• Multi-language sentrux coverage at scale -- 52 languages supported by sentrux; we exercised TypeScript only in the integration fixture.

Migration / rollback

No migration required. Every new behavior is opt-in (env flag) or additive (new endpoints, new subcommands, new help text, more resilient error handling). To roll back: npm install -g loki-mode@7.5.14. No state migrations.
