SlackE17 is a project of packaging the new Enlightenment DR17 for the Linux Slackware distribution.

This VB6 utility is a functional reproduction of Rocketdock's original settings screen. This makes the utility familiar to Rocketdock users. The original Rocketdock's settings screen has a few annoying bugs or limitations. One of the bugs is the time the extended time Rocketdock takes to respond to a right-click on an icon when your icon library is large (300+ icons) . This is vital functionality as it is precisely how you change the appearance or the functionality of any Rocketdock icon. This utility is open source VB6, enhances rocketdock and fixes bugs. The project is now 100% complete except for final full testing on Windows 10 and XP. I making some final enhancements/bugfixes and these will be released shortly. It runs well on Windows 7 64 bit and 32 bit.

Version 1.3 compiles from VS 2017 community (the free version) with the C++ standard set to the older one ... the code hasn't been modified to the newer standards. Version 1.2 includes support for folks who were having a problem compiling the program in VS 2013 because the code referenced a feature available in the 2015 SDK but not the one default with 2013. The Emcee.Shareware.zip file contains an open-source release of the commercial Emcee Software program. A small application that allows you to quickly change a folder's icon. The iconized folder is portable, so you can move, copy it to anywhere you want without have to to re-iconize it. Drag and drop is supported to make it even simpler and easier.
