Loc-OS Linux Reviews

I am really happy after I finally found the right Linux Distro for my Chrbook-laptop its a new machine with cpu Intel Core i3-N305 Alder Lake-N on Yaviks board and coreboot BIOS CR50 very "resistant" to be installed by all others debian-based distros or after installation bugs issues... but thanks God I try with Loc-OS Linus AHS for new machines Live version and get an installation full 100 % successfull, I can't believe its well done. It means to much for me and I give congratulation to a whole Loc-OS developers team., they made good job. I stroghlly RECOMMEND Loc-OS Linux distro !!! Loc-OS is the best Linux distro for my Laptop in particular so far, it boots at once, recognize all hardware parts and install driver for every thing, UFS driver is recognized properlly, USB-TYPE-C ports works perfect and cold, sensor report cpu very good temperature and even I removed the FAN so the CPU is working fanless now, that extend battery life up to 15 hours multitask; Loc-OS is also recommended because is a light weight distro, highly optimized, it shows to run very fast, stable and good looking appearance. Before I was using MxLinux AHS version a great distro also but the BIOS cause Liquorix Kernel on uncontrolled c-state intel_idle acpi_idle cause extreme cpu heat and otherwise after I choose to switch to Kernel 12.19 PREEMT-DYNAMIC it is unable to access to USB-TYPE-C ports after boot time; so I try with Loc-OS a V-init kernel distro that proved is costumized for this coreboot BIOS, my modest opinion is that looks like current systemd kernels can NOT control this coreBIOS yet or are in conflict with.

Works better with Ventoy for me. When tried with Rufus didn't work.

Installed and updated the KDE version. Error message in settings saying the power module could not be started so no option to make changes. Since this results in a blank screen due to the default settings after some minutes no good at all.

Bezvadná lehká distribuce na a stabilním debianu. Jednoduchá i pro nováčky. Bez zbytečných aplikací a nastavování. Oživil starý 32 bitový notebook. Super práce👌👍.

LXDE y XFCE son mis dos escritorios favoritos, sumando a eso un sistema ligero y fácil de ampliar hacen de este SO una maravilla.

estoy intentando instala Loc-OS y me queda en una pantalla verde donde al final dice: Waiting for /dev to be fully populated. y de ahi no pasa. Agradeceria su ayuda.

Esta distribución es muy recomendable, sobre todo para quienes quieran revivir un ordenador antiguo o quieran optimizar los recursos de su sistema. Es una opción excelente

Very good distro, easy to use, and suitable for postponing the obsolescence of old 32-bit computers for a few years. Hope to see a new version based on Antix 21 in a short time. Thank you for this work and the time dedicated to it.
