What is new

Workflows and agents

  • Retry policies now apply on production runs, including queued agents.
  • When an agent adds a node, the builder re-lays out the whole workflow graph.
  • SpEL references are read whole, and form field defaults are applied everywhere.
  • Captures and rendered_* values inside a split show the item being executed.
  • Agent tool refusals that agents kept hitting now become answers or input errors.

Chat

  • Side-panel chat: builds open next to the chat and resume after a page reload.
  • Chat channels now store the channel id.
  • Live tool results are now available on self-hosted installs.
  • After a lost connection, chat replies and run status are recovered.
  • "Don't ask again" now also covers the turn in progress, and new cards scroll into view.

Catalog and integrations

  • Text answers are read correctly.
  • Pasted host values are fitted to their field.
  • A URL that still has placeholders is refused.
  • One rule now governs static headers.
  • A call the provider refused is never re-sent; retrying is up to the caller.

Sharing and files

  • A share link can only name a resource its creator holds.
  • A workflow or agent built on a custom API cannot be shared.
  • File rows whose workflow no longer exists now appear at the Files root.

Models

  • A model can be unlisted.
  • New models carry a badge in the admin model list.

Fixes

  • Budget guards price cache tokens the same way the ledger does.
  • Agenda week, day and list cards now end under their last row.
  • The breadcrumb no longer leaves an empty gap after the name.

Upgrading

  • Database migrations run automatically on start.
  • To update, run docker compose pull and then docker compose up -d.

Update an existing install

git pull
docker compose pull
docker compose up -d

The compose file pins this release's image tag, so run git pull first. Your data lives in Docker volumes and is kept across updates.

Fresh install

git clone https://github.com/livecontext-ai/livecontext-ce
cd livecontext-ce
docker compose up -d

Then open http://localhost:3000

Pull from whichever registry you prefer, the digests are identical.
