First release.

LingoGeek translates whole documents on your own machine. No account, no character limit, and nothing is uploaded.

What it handles

• Word documents, with headings, lists, tables, headers and footers kept in place
• PDFs, read as text and written out as an editable Word document
• SRT and VTT subtitles, with every timing copied through untouched
• Plain text and Markdown

How it works

Pick a language pair and the pack downloads once, around 40 to 80 MB. After that it runs offline. Your original file is never overwritten: the translation is written as a new file beside it.

Requirements

Windows 10 version 1809 or later, 64 bit. Installs for the current user, so no administrator password is needed.
