  • Running real nice on WattOS7.5 which uses 13.02 ubuntu base and Grub2. 2 problems easily fixed: ............. 1) The install error on newer based ubuntu's and maybe even debian and others. There is a simple change to a file involved because you will get an error message during the install. The script uses a deprecated library update-grub_lib. If you edit /etc/grub.d/09_lethe and change the one occurrence from update-grub_lib to grub-mkconfig_lib you should be good to go ................ 2) Wifi or other devices might stop working and there is a bug noted if you search google for fsprotect which a user (jesbecker) solution was either removing apparmor or disabling it during boot with the extra kernel option apparmor=0 and security="" ................ Just a note for newbies. This Lethe script changes your grub and adds an entry aufs=tmpfs to the kernel line. Someone a little more serious might want to lock down the grub with a password and there are instructions online on how to do so. You may also like Grub Customizer which is a nice Grub2 GUI editor if you want to tweak the Grub in a GUI. I hope these tips helped someone new. If they did let use know :)

  • The only problem I have with this software so far is that I cannot get my printers to work when it is on. It takes them away when in Freeze Mode. Any ideas on how to fix that? Other than that I love the product.
  • Very nice!
  • Great solution if you intend to protect your Ubuntu partitions ;) Great support from the developper by the way !
