Headline

  • This quality release fixes two top bugs: allowed_origins no longer blocks remote use, and the fixed 120s prefill timeout is now a 600s default that is configurable via global_timeout.
  • A new experimental llamacpp-hrx backend runs AMD's HRX runtime in early access on AMD gfx1100/gfx1151 GPUs on Linux.
  • The pinned llama.cpp backend version was updated to add Qwen3-Next support.
  • Models placed in chat/, embeddings/, and reranking/ subfolders of extra_models_dir are now classified by type and listed individually.

Breaking Changes

  • extra_models_dir models in reserved folders (chat/, embeddings/, reranking/) are now listed individually per file instead of as a single extra.<directory> model; legacy extra.chat/extra.embeddings/extra.reranking IDs still resolve as hidden aliases to the first file alphabetically.
  • The LEMONADE_ALLOWED_ORIGINS environment variable is deprecated in favor of the allowed_origins config/CLI option and auto-migrates at startup with a warning; migrate to the new option, as the environment variable is only supported temporarily.
