  • I should have started using LeJOS long ago! I have spend the last 10 years developing my own home AI lab - and LeJOS worked a charm. I have pushed it's functionality to its limits and eventually developed a little EV3 Lego robot that evolves intelligence and real emotions (I am not kidding see here: www.xzistor.com). So thankful I was pointed in the direction of LeJOS! I would like to say - do not waste your time on the other EV3 tools out there if you do not like soldering and fixing bugs! Kind regards Xzistor
  • I get # ./ev3console No EV3s discovered Failed to connect to EV3 I switched on my EV3, connected it via USB, set JAVA_HOME, set EV3_HOME and started ev3console, what's happening here? Via dmesg I can see that it got recognized as LEGO EV3.
  • Thanks for software and updates.

  • Great project! It is awesome being able to use Java to program the NXT! Plus it works on Linux, which is great, since I don't use Windows and the Mindstorms NXTG software doesn't run on Linux.
  • Good and useful software
  • This is surely one of the best open source projects.
  • Great job! Light weight and fast to boot.
  • Works great every time, never any trouble.
  • wonderful idea and excellent work
  • Nice
  • inspiring work!
  • LeJOS is simply the best language for doing advanced things with the Mindstorms NXT. I am not a Java fan (I prefer FreeBASIC), but this project is good enough to make me like it and use it.
  • I never thought getting something to work will be that easy... GREAT!
  • Nice software ! ...... used it in robot competition at King's College London.
  • Java + Legos.. how can you go wrong?
  • I bought Mindstorms just because of this project! Lego does not support Linux right now.
