Lazview is promising, but still needs some polishing before it's ready for prime time. From the top of my head, it needs to be able to be set to start in full-screen viewer mode by default and the thumbnail strip would benefit from auto-hiding and showing on mouse hover. Apart from this, it has many of the right bases covered. Keep up the good work.

LazView is a new yet very promising image viewer which does not require Java/.NET/Electron. It supports the most common graphic formats and sports a flexible, very customizable GUI. The program has a good set of features and it shines in its support for animated images (both GIF and PNG) as it offers a special tool bar for handling animated image files (previous/next frame, play/pause animation, speed up/speed down). The developer is friendly, helpful and open to suggestions.
