I love the way you can just copy the whole site. No worrying about database installations, etc. For a small site it's perfect. Such a shame it appears to have stopped being supported.

I'm not sure really what happened to this project. The main web site went offline for a server move and never came back :( I do hope that at some point it will come back as it was becoming quite useful.

Was an amazing flat file CMS with the most important features integrated. Flat-file , ready forum , a very easy to use image gallery and everything else was mambo or Joomla 1.0.x-like... It's a pity that laniuscms.org site is dead and I guess also the project :( . And the problem is that I still don't know why it was abandoned... was it cause of faulty design (so I should never use it again) or just real -life reasons... It's sad because It was -and maybe still is- the best all-in-one flat-file cms.
