Lang Switcher 1.4.1 — точнее с особыми раскладками и в Блокноте

Lang Switcher исправляет слово, набранное в неверной раскладке клавиатуры. Нажмите горячую клавишу — по умолчанию Pause/Break — последнее набранное слово перекодируется в другую раскладку, а раскладка окна переключится. Нажмите ещё раз — исходный текст вернётся побитово. Выделенный текст перекодируется через буфер обмена с восстановлением всех его форматов. Программа делает одну вещь и живёт в трее.

Что изменилось.

• Буква, которую раскладка цели составляет из двух мёртвых клавиш подряд, теперь составляется, как в Windows: во французской BÉPO ´, ´, o — это ő, а не ´´o.
• Канадская многоязычная стандартная раскладка: слово, набранное с правым Ctrl (её дополнительный уровень), переводится в ту же раскладку другого языка Канады знаком того же уровня. В раскладку без такого уровня — это все остальные раскладки Windows — слово по-прежнему не заменяется, и звучит отказ.
• Блокнот с тамильской раскладкой Tamil 99: замена больше не встаёт после слова, ничего не стерев.
• Блокнот, способ замены backspace (только в файле настроек): тамильская согласная с пулли, набранная клавишами, больше не приводит к стиранию знака перед словом. Блокнот снимает такую пару то одним нажатием, то двумя, поэтому перед заменой иногда остаётся согласная — её видно и легко убрать.
• Что не изменилось: горячая клавиша, вид окон, языки интерфейса, файл настроек.

Установка. Windows 10 или 11. Если у вас 1.4.0, 1.3.0, 1.2.0, 1.1.0, 1.0.0 или 0.104.0, ничего делать не нужно — программа обновится сама в течение суток. Иначе скачайте LangSwitcher-setup.exe (4 221 096 байт, SHA-256 A2344FCA8D4F25E965544CF5DA7882D8FB0DC37EAAE197CC2D27F7EC2B970864) и запустите. Ставится поверх 1.4.0, 1.3.0, 1.2.0, 1.1.0, 1.0.0, 0.104.0, 0.103.0, 0.102.0, 0.101.0, 0.100.0, 0.99.0, 0.98.0, 0.97.0, 0.96.0, 0.95.0, 0.94.0, 0.93.0, 0.92.0, 0.91.0 и 0.90.0.

Честно о подписи. Как и в 1.4.0: программа и установщик подписаны самодельным сертификатом автора «Panda Koder», а не сертификатом удостоверяющего центра, поэтому запрос UAC при запуске установщика жёлтый, а издатель в нём — «неизвестный». Полная версия работает и в окнах программ, запущенных от имени администратора, благодаря сертификату, который установщик создаёт на вашем компьютере: только для подписи кода, ключ уничтожается сразу после подписи, удаление программы убирает сертификат. Обновления ставятся тем же установщиком, сам, без запроса UAC.

Если браузер или Windows предупреждают. Новый выпуск скачивают пока редко, а подписи удостоверяющего центра у программы нет, поэтому перед установкой будут предупреждения — это ожидаемо. Edge: в загрузках «…» → «Сохранить» → в окне «Удалить ▾» → «Все равно сохранить». Chrome: «Скачать подозрительный файл». При запуске Windows может показать «Система Windows защитила ваш компьютер» — «Подробнее» → «Выполнить в любом случае». Затем жёлтый запрос UAC — «Да». Сверить файл можно по SHA-256 выше.

Что измерено. Какие раскладки Windows 11 имеют уровень сверх Shift и AltGr и какие составляют букву из нескольких мёртвых клавиш — прибором по таблицам самих файлов раскладок (218 файлов), а не по памяти. Тамильский в Блокноте — по 30 проб на каждое решение в виртуальной машине Windows 11: замена «ничего не стёрто» была в 5 из 30 на 1.4.0 и в 0 из 30 на 1.4.1. Поставка прошла стенд: перевод в русскую, немецкую и французскую раскладки, BÉPO, канадская многоязычная, тамильский в Блокноте. Остаток, который мы знаем: первая замена тамильского слова после запуска Блокнота иногда стирает пробел перед словом. Не проверено приборами: Windows 10 — стенды работали на Windows 11; обновление 1.4.0 → 1.4.1 по ленте.

Lang Switcher 1.4.1 — more exact with special layouts and in Notepad

Lang Switcher fixes a word typed in the wrong keyboard layout. Press the hotkey — Pause/Break by default: the last typed word is converted to the other layout and the window's layout switches; press again and the original text comes back byte for byte. Selected text is converted through the clipboard with every clipboard format restored. The program does one thing and lives in the tray.

What changed.

• A letter the target layout builds from two dead keys in a row is now built the way Windows builds it: in French BÉPO ´, ´, o is ő, not ´´o.
• Canadian Multilingual Standard: a word typed with the right Ctrl (the extra level of that layout) converts into the same layout of another language of Canada, with the character of the same level. A layout without such a level — every other layout of Windows — still does not take the word, and the program sounds a refusal.
• Notepad with the Tamil 99 layout: the replacement no longer lands after the word with nothing erased.
• Notepad, the backspace replacement method (configuration file only): a Tamil consonant with its pulli, typed by keys, no longer leads to erasing the character before the word. Notepad takes such a pair off sometimes with one press and sometimes with two, so a consonant may stay in front of the replacement — visible and easy to remove.
• Unchanged: the hotkey, the look of the windows, the interface languages, the configuration file.

Installation. Windows 10 or 11. If you have 1.4.0, 1.3.0, 1.2.0, 1.1.0, 1.0.0 or 0.104.0, there is nothing to do — the program updates itself within a day. Otherwise download LangSwitcher-setup.exe (4,221,096 bytes, SHA-256 A2344FCA8D4F25E965544CF5DA7882D8FB0DC37EAAE197CC2D27F7EC2B970864) and run it. It installs over 1.4.0, 1.3.0, 1.2.0, 1.1.0, 1.0.0, 0.104.0, 0.103.0, 0.102.0, 0.101.0, 0.100.0, 0.99.0, 0.98.0, 0.97.0, 0.96.0, 0.95.0, 0.94.0, 0.93.0, 0.92.0, 0.91.0 and 0.90.0.

About the signature, honestly. As in 1.4.0: the program and the installer are signed with the author's own certificate «Panda Koder», not one from a certificate authority, so the UAC prompt of the installer is yellow and names an unknown publisher. The full version also works in the windows of programs run as administrator, thanks to a certificate the installer makes on your computer: for code signing only, its key destroyed right after signing, removed together with the program. Updates are installed by the same installer, by itself, without a UAC prompt.

If the browser or Windows warns you. Few people download a new release at first and the program has no certificate authority signature, so warnings before installing are expected. Edge: in downloads «…» → «Keep» → «Show more ▾» → «Keep anyway». Chrome: «Download suspicious file». Windows may show «Windows protected your PC» — «More info» → «Run anyway». Then the yellow UAC prompt — «Yes». The file can be checked against the SHA-256 above.

What was measured. Which layouts of Windows 11 have a level beyond Shift and AltGr, and which build a letter out of several dead keys — by an instrument over the tables of the layout files themselves (218 files), not from memory. Tamil in Notepad — 30 trials per decision in a Windows 11 virtual machine: «nothing erased» happened in 5 of 30 on 1.4.0 and in 0 of 30 on 1.4.1. The delivery passed the stand: conversion into the Russian, German and French layouts, BÉPO, Canadian Multilingual, Tamil in Notepad. A remainder we know of: the first replacement of a Tamil word after Notepad starts sometimes erases the space before the word. Not checked by instruments: Windows 10 — the stands ran on Windows 11; the update 1.4.0 → 1.4.1 by the feed.
