Lang Switcher 1.4.0 — интерфейс ещё на 22 языках, всего 66

Lang Switcher исправляет слово, набранное в неверной раскладке клавиатуры. Нажмите горячую клавишу — по умолчанию Pause/Break — последнее набранное слово перекодируется в другую раскладку, а раскладка окна переключится. Нажмите ещё раз — исходный текст вернётся побитово. Выделенный текст перекодируется через буфер обмена с восстановлением всех его форматов. Программа делает одну вещь и живёт в трее.

Что изменилось.

• Интерфейс ещё на 22 языках: вьетнамский, нидерландский, румынский, венгерский, шведский, албанский, датский, финский, хорватский, словацкий, норвежский (букмол и нюношк), литовский, словенский, боснийский, латышский, эстонский, валлийский, мальтийский, исландский, люксембургский и маори — всего 66.
• При первом запуске программа говорит на языке Windows; норвежская Windows с букмолом или нюношком получает свою норму, боснийский — латиницей.
• Окна на нидерландском, люксембургском, валлийском и маори на небольших экранах могут открываться на шаг шрифта мельче — чтобы окно целиком помещалось на экране. У прежних языков вид окон не изменился.
• На хинди и урду строки панели «Состояние» об отказах теперь прямо говорят о выборе раскладки.
• Установщик тоже говорит на 66 языках; в венгерском установщике названия кнопок — в кавычках языка.
• Что не изменилось: горячая клавиша, вид окон на прежних языках, подпись автора. Файл настроек получил новую отметку схемы (10): если вернуться на 1.3.0, она прочтёт файл и оставит его как есть.

Установка. Windows 10 или 11. Если у вас 1.3.0, 1.2.0, 1.1.0, 1.0.0 или 0.104.0, ничего делать не нужно — программа обновится сама в течение суток. Иначе скачайте LangSwitcher-setup.exe (4 217 960 байт, SHA-256 28DD0FB93983CC77691179112BC8FAC2AB2416DECC463F9935184F974847CB54) и запустите. Ставится поверх 1.3.0, 1.2.0, 1.1.0, 1.0.0, 0.104.0, 0.103.0, 0.102.0, 0.101.0, 0.100.0, 0.99.0, 0.98.0, 0.97.0, 0.96.0, 0.95.0, 0.94.0, 0.93.0, 0.92.0, 0.91.0 и 0.90.0.

Честно о подписи. Как и в 1.3.0: программа и установщик подписаны самодельным сертификатом автора «Panda Koder», а не сертификатом удостоверяющего центра, поэтому запрос UAC при запуске установщика жёлтый, а издатель в нём — «неизвестный». Полная версия работает и в окнах программ, запущенных от имени администратора, благодаря сертификату, который установщик создаёт на вашем компьютере: только для подписи кода, ключ уничтожается сразу после подписи, удаление программы убирает сертификат. Обновления ставятся тем же установщиком, сам, без запроса UAC.

Честно о переводах. Носителей новых языков у автора нет: каждый перевод сделан и построчно вычитан отдельно, по правилам адаптации и словарю терминов Windows, но ошибки возможны. Если увидите неточность на своём языке — напишите через мастер «Написать автору…»: исправим в следующей версии.

Если браузер или Windows предупреждают. Новый выпуск скачивают пока редко, а подписи удостоверяющего центра у программы нет, поэтому перед установкой будут предупреждения — это ожидаемо. Edge: в загрузках «…» → «Сохранить» → в окне «Удалить ▾» → «Все равно сохранить». Chrome: «Скачать подозрительный файл». При запуске Windows может показать «Система Windows защитила ваш компьютер» — «Подробнее» → «Выполнить в любом случае». Затем жёлтый запрос UAC — «Да». Сверить файл можно по SHA-256 выше.

Что измерено. Каждая строка всех 66 языков проходит сторож: подстановки, письмо языка (без знаков чужого письма и без латинских букв внутри кириллических слов), помещается ли в своё место при 12 сочетаниях масштаба и шрифта. Слово примера в письме знакомства на каждом языке снято с таблиц раскладок Windows, а не по памяти. Поставка прошла стенд в виртуальной машине Windows 11: вьетнамский с надстрочными и подстрочными знаками при 100 и 150 %, список из 66 языков, смена языка на ходу, пример «Привет», шаг шрифта, обновление 1.2.0 → 1.4.0 само, установка поверх 1.3.0 и возврат на 1.3.0. Ошибка, найденная стендом, исправлена до выпуска: в венгерском установщике названия кнопок стояли в прямых апострофах. Не проверено приборами: Windows 10 — стенды работали на Windows 11; первый запуск на норвежской и боснийской Windows — выбор держит тест, на стенде язык Windows не встал; обновление 1.3.0 → 1.4.0 по ленте — на стенде проверено с 1.2.0.

Lang Switcher 1.4.0 — the interface in 22 more languages, 66 in all

Lang Switcher fixes a word typed in the wrong keyboard layout. Press the hotkey — Pause/Break by default: the last typed word is converted to the other layout and the window's layout switches; press again and the original text comes back byte for byte. Selected text is converted through the clipboard with every clipboard format restored. The program does one thing and lives in the tray.

What changed.

• The interface in 22 more languages: Vietnamese, Dutch, Romanian, Hungarian, Swedish, Albanian, Danish, Finnish, Croatian, Slovak, Norwegian (Bokmål and Nynorsk), Lithuanian, Slovenian, Bosnian, Latvian, Estonian, Welsh, Maltese, Icelandic, Luxembourgish and Māori — 66 in all.
• On its first start the program speaks the language of Windows; a Norwegian Windows in Bokmål or Nynorsk gets its own written norm, Bosnian comes in the Latin script.
• The windows in Dutch, Luxembourgish, Welsh and Māori may open one font step smaller on small screens, so that the whole window fits; the windows of the earlier languages look as before.
• In Hindi and Urdu the lines of the "State" panel about refusals now say plainly that they are about choosing a layout.
• The installer speaks the 66 languages too; the Hungarian installer puts the names of its buttons in Hungarian quotes.
• What did not change: the hotkey, the look of the windows in the earlier languages, the author's signature. The settings file gets a new schema mark (10): if you go back to 1.3.0, it reads the file and leaves it as it is.

Installation. Windows 10 or 11. If you have 1.3.0, 1.2.0, 1.1.0, 1.0.0 or 0.104.0, there is nothing to do — the program updates itself within a day. Otherwise download LangSwitcher-setup.exe (4,217,960 bytes, SHA-256 28DD0FB93983CC77691179112BC8FAC2AB2416DECC463F9935184F974847CB54) and run it. About the signature, honestly. As in 1.3.0: the program and the installer are signed with the author's own certificate, "Panda Koder", not one from a certificate authority, so the UAC prompt of the installer is yellow and names an unknown publisher. The full version works in the windows of programs run as administrator too, thanks to a certificate the installer creates on your computer: for code signing only, its key destroyed right after signing, removed with the program. Updates are installed by the same installer, on their own, without a UAC prompt.

About the translations, honestly. The author has no native speakers of the new languages: every translation was made and then read line by line separately, by rules of adaptation and a glossary of the terms of Windows, but mistakes are possible. If you see one in your language, write through the "Write to the author" wizard: it will be fixed in the next version.

If the browser or Windows warns you. New releases are downloaded rarely at first and the program has no certificate authority signature, so there will be warnings before installation — that is expected. Edge: in downloads "…" → "Keep" → "Show more ▾" → "Keep anyway". Chrome: "Download suspicious file". Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" — "More info" → "Run anyway". Then the yellow UAC prompt — "Yes". You can check the file by the SHA-256 above.

What was measured. Every string of all 66 languages passes the guard: placeholders, the script of the language (no signs of another script, no Latin letters inside Cyrillic words), and whether it fits its place at 12 pairs of scale and font. The example word of the welcome letter in every language was taken off the tables of the Windows layouts, not from memory. The delivery passed a test bench in a Windows 11 virtual machine: Vietnamese with its marks above and below the letters at 100 and 150 %, the list of 66 languages, changing the language on the fly, the "Hello" example, the font step, the update 1.2.0 → 1.4.0 on its own, installation over 1.3.0 and the way back to 1.3.0. A defect the bench found was fixed before the release: the Hungarian installer put the names of its buttons in straight apostrophes. Not measured: Windows 10 — the test benches ran Windows 11; the first start on a Norwegian or Bosnian Windows — the choice is held by a test, the language of Windows did not install on the bench; the update 1.3.0 → 1.4.0 through the feed — the bench checked it from 1.2.0.
