Lang Switcher 1.2.0 — обращение к автору одной кнопкой, статистика ещё шести языков

Lang Switcher исправляет слово, набранное в неверной раскладке клавиатуры. Нажмите горячую клавишу — по умолчанию Pause/Break — последнее набранное слово перекодируется в другую раскладку, а раскладка окна переключится. Нажмите ещё раз — исходный текст вернётся побитово. Выделенный текст перекодируется через буфер обмена с восстановлением всех его форматов. Программа делает одну вещь и живёт в трее.

Что изменилось.

• Обращение к автору прямо из программы. В мастере «Написать автору…» на последнем шаге теперь кнопка «Отправить»: обращение уходит на сайт автора — без почтовой программы и браузера, только когда вы нажали сами, и ровно тот текст, который вы видели. Под текстом — поле «Как с вами связаться» (почта или Telegram, по желанию). Если сайт не ответил, мастер не закрывается: «Повторить», то же письмом на lang.switcher@panda-pishet-kod.dev или «Сохранить в папку журнала». Ссылки мастера на группу Telegram и GitHub Issues ушли — они остались в окне «От автора», в письмах и на сайте.
• Статистика букв ещё шести языков: арабского, персидского, индонезийского, хинди, тамильского и сингальского. Выделенный текст раскладки с неоднозначной клавишей-лигатурой, набранный не только что, читается по статистике языка, в который переводится. Источник — Leipzig Corpora Collection (Universität Leipzig, CC BY; сингальский корпус — из Википедии, CC BY-SA); в программе только таблицы частот, не тексты.
• Четыре редких случая особых раскладок. Выделенная «ґ» украинской расширенной раскладки переносится верно. Правый Alt с мёртвой клавишей другой раскладки (французская BÉPO) — буква, а не команда, и слово больше не обрывается. Тамильский конъюнкт «க்ஷ», набранный одной клавишей раскладки Tamil 99, Блокнот теперь стирает целиком. Слово, набранное с уровнем правого Ctrl канадской многоязычной раскладки, программа не портит, а отказывается со звуком.
• Описание программы на GitHub — по-английски, русское — в README.ru.md; число языков в нём теперь точное: 102 языка — 107 сочетаний языка и письма (96 + 11 малых письмён).
• Что не изменилось: горячая клавиша, вид окон и настройки программы (кроме последнего шага мастера), файл настроек (схема 8), подпись автора.

Установка. Windows 10 или 11. Если у вас 1.1.0, 1.0.0 или 0.104.0, ничего делать не нужно — программа обновится сама в течение суток. Иначе скачайте LangSwitcher-setup.exe (3 806 664 байт, SHA-256 FD10EED7A1581DB75A2B37255F5C9DBC218C636D29545CFC5558ED55488D412B) и запустите. Ставится поверх 1.1.0, 1.0.0, 0.104.0, 0.103.0, 0.102.0, 0.101.0, 0.100.0, 0.99.0, 0.98.0, 0.97.0, 0.96.0, 0.95.0, 0.94.0, 0.93.0, 0.92.0, 0.91.0 и 0.90.0.

Честно о подписи. Как и в 1.1.0: программа и установщик подписаны самодельным сертификатом автора «Panda Koder», а не сертификатом удостоверяющего центра, поэтому запрос UAC при запуске установщика жёлтый, а издатель в нём — «неизвестный». Полная версия работает и в окнах программ, запущенных от имени администратора, благодаря сертификату, который установщик создаёт на вашем компьютере: только для подписи кода, ключ уничтожается сразу после подписи, удаление программы убирает сертификат. Обновления ставятся тем же установщиком, сам, без запроса UAC.

Если браузер или Windows предупреждают. Новый выпуск скачивают пока редко, а подписи удостоверяющего центра у программы нет, поэтому перед установкой будут предупреждения — это ожидаемо. Edge: в загрузках «…» → «Сохранить» → в окне «Удалить ▾» → «Все равно сохранить». Chrome: «Скачать подозрительный файл». При запуске Windows может показать «Система Windows защитила ваш компьютер» — «Подробнее» → «Выполнить в любом случае». Затем жёлтый запрос UAC — «Да». Сверить файл можно по SHA-256 выше.

Что измерено. Отправка обращения — один настоящий запрос на сайт автора, ответ 201 (сборкой стенда, с пометкой «тест»); путь «сайт не ответил» — тестами на петле машины. Самообновление 1.1.0 → 1.2.0 на чистой Windows 11 — само, за 25 с; поднятая программа переводит ghbdtn → «привет». Тамильский конъюнкт, набранный клавишей Shift+T раскладки Tamil 99, Блокнот выделяет за три шага (4 из 4), вставленный — за два; так теперь считает и программа. Известно: в Блокноте слово раскладки Tamil 99 иногда остаётся, а замена встаёт за ним (3 из 6 проб, так же в 1.1.0): Блокнот под этой раскладкой обрабатывает внедрённые нажатия не по порядку — и без программы; ищем обход. Способ backspace в Блокноте и без программы в 1 пробе из 50 теряет первый знак замены — это поведение самого Блокнота (по умолчанию программа в Блокноте выделяет слово, а не стирает). Не проверено приборами: Windows 10 — стенды работали на Windows 11.

Lang Switcher 1.2.0 — write to the author with one button, letter statistics of six more languages

Lang Switcher fixes a word typed in the wrong keyboard layout. Press the hotkey — Pause/Break by default: the last typed word is converted to the other layout and the window's layout switches; press again and the original text comes back byte for byte. Selected text is converted through the clipboard with every clipboard format restored. The program does one thing and lives in the tray.

What changed.

• Write to the author right from the program. The last step of the "Write to the author" wizard now has a Send button: the message goes to the author's site — no email app or browser needed, only when you press it yourself, and exactly the text you saw. Under the text there is an optional field for how to reach you. If the site does not answer, the wizard stays open: Retry, the same text by email to lang.switcher@panda-pishet-kod.dev, or Save to the log folder.
• Letter statistics of six more languages: Arabic, Persian, Indonesian, Hindi, Tamil and Sinhala. Selected text of a layout with an ambiguous ligature key, typed not just now, is read by the statistics of the language it is converted to. The source is the Leipzig Corpora Collection (Universität Leipzig, CC BY; the Sinhala corpus is drawn from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA); only tables of letter frequencies are in the program, not the texts.
• Four rare cases of special layouts. A selected ґ of the Ukrainian (Enhanced) layout is converted correctly. The right Alt with a dead key of another layout (French BÉPO) is a letter, not a command, and the word is no longer cut short. The Tamil conjunct க்ஷ typed with one key of the Tamil 99 layout is now erased whole in Notepad. A word typed with the level of the right Ctrl of the Canadian Multilingual Standard layout is not garbled: the program refuses with a sound.
• The description of the program on GitHub is in English now, and its count of languages is exact: 102 languages — 107 combinations of a language and a script (96, plus 11 smaller scripts).
• What did not change: the hotkey, the look of the windows and the settings of the program (except the last step of the wizard), the settings file (schema 8), the author's signature.

Install. Windows 10 or 11. If you have 1.1.0, 1.0.0 or 0.104.0, there is nothing to do — the program updates itself within a day. Otherwise download LangSwitcher-setup.exe (3,806,664 bytes, SHA-256 FD10EED7A1581DB75A2B37255F5C9DBC218C636D29545CFC5558ED55488D412B) and run it. Installs over 1.1.0, 1.0.0, 0.104.0, 0.103.0, 0.102.0, 0.101.0, 0.100.0, 0.99.0, 0.98.0, 0.97.0, 0.96.0, 0.95.0, 0.94.0, 0.93.0, 0.92.0, 0.91.0 and 0.90.0.

About the signature, honestly. As in 1.1.0: the program and the installer are signed with the author's own certificate, "Panda Koder", not with one issued by a certification authority, so the UAC prompt of the installer is yellow and names the publisher as unknown. The full version also works in windows of programs run as administrator thanks to the certificate the installer makes on your computer: for code signing only, the key is destroyed right after signing, and uninstalling removes the certificate. Updates are installed by the same installer, on their own, without a UAC prompt.

If the browser or Windows warns you. A new release is still rarely downloaded and the program has no certificate from a certification authority, so you will see warnings before installing — this is expected. Edge: in Downloads, "…" → "Keep", then in the dialog "Delete ▾" → "Keep anyway". Chrome: "Download suspicious file". Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" — "More info" → "Run anyway". Then the yellow UAC prompt — "Yes". You can check the file against the SHA-256 above.

What was measured. Sending a message: one real request to the author's site, answered 201 (by a build of the stand, marked as a test); the path "the site did not answer" — by tests on the loopback of the machine. Self-update 1.1.0 → 1.2.0 on a clean Windows 11 — by itself, in 25 seconds; the updated program converts ghbdtn → привет. The Tamil conjunct typed with Shift+T of the Tamil 99 layout takes three selection steps in Notepad (4 of 4), the same text inserted takes two; the program now counts the same way. Known: in Notepad a word of the Tamil 99 layout sometimes stays and the replacement lands after it (3 of 6 trials, the same in 1.1.0): under this layout Notepad handles injected keystrokes out of order, without the program too; a workaround is being looked for. The backspace method in Notepad loses the first character of the replacement in 1 trial of 50 even without the program — this is Notepad's own behavior (by default the program selects the word in Notepad instead of erasing it). Not checked by instruments: Windows 10 — the stands ran Windows 11.
