Lang Switcher 1.0.0 — тайский, хинди, вьетнамский, польский, французский и арабский без потерь

Lang Switcher исправляет слово, набранное в неверной раскладке клавиатуры. Нажмите горячую клавишу — по умолчанию Pause/Break — последнее набранное слово перекодируется в другую раскладку, а раскладка окна переключится. Нажмите ещё раз — исходный текст вернётся побитово. Выделенный текст перекодируется через буфер обмена с восстановлением всех его форматов. Программа делает одну вещь и живёт в трее.

Первая версия с обычной нумерацией: 1.0.0. Дальше первая цифра растёт при больших переменах, вторая — при новых возможностях, третья — при исправлениях.

Что изменилось.

• Письмо со знаками над и под буквой. В тайском, хинди, вьетнамском и подобных письменностях программа стирала лишнее: тайское слово заменялось вместе с пробелом и знаком перед ним. Теперь замена захватывает ровно слово — столько букв, сколько их видит Windows (тайское สวัสดี — 4 буквы, хинди नमस्ते — 3).
• Правый Alt в английской раскладке. Польское mąka, набранное в английской раскладке клавишами польской (программистов), киргизское сөз и другие буквы на правом Alt больше не теряются: такое нажатие — буква, а не команда. Левый Alt и правый Alt с клавишами без букв — по-прежнему команды.
• Мёртвые клавиши. être, набранное в английской раскладке клавишами французской ([etre), переводится в être, а ê обратно — в [e, как это сделала бы сама Windows. Так же испанское canción, португальское não.
• Арабская и другие раскладки с клавишей-лигатурой. Выделенное لاث (be, набранное в арабской раскладке) теперь переводится в be, а не в ghe: только что набранное — по настоящим нажатиям, вставленное — по статистике букв английского. Нажатия для этого помнятся только для таких раскладок, только в памяти, не дольше минуты и до смены поля; для русской и английской всё как прежде — ничего не запоминается.
• Обновление проверяет, что новая версия действительно работает: окно программы должно появиться и жить. Иначе возвращается прежняя версия.
• Что не изменилось: горячая клавиша, вид окон и настройки программы, файл настроек (схема 8), подпись автора.

Установка. Windows 10 или 11. Если у вас 0.104.0, ничего делать не нужно — программа обновится сама в течение суток. Иначе скачайте LangSwitcher-setup.exe (3 660 288 байт, SHA-256 A7E36E7763DEAA709297C8ADB73D002CA0C527986B7B08CDAFE45C8E2F10D0A2) и запустите. Ставится поверх 0.104.0, 0.103.0, 0.102.0, 0.101.0, 0.100.0, 0.99.0, 0.98.0, 0.97.0, 0.96.0, 0.95.0, 0.94.0, 0.93.0, 0.92.0, 0.91.0 и 0.90.0.

Честно о подписи. Как и в 0.104.0: программа и установщик подписаны самодельным сертификатом автора «Panda Koder», а не сертификатом удостоверяющего центра, поэтому запрос UAC при запуске установщика жёлтый, а издатель в нём — «неизвестный». Полная версия работает и в окнах программ, запущенных от имени администратора, благодаря сертификату, который установщик создаёт на вашем компьютере: только для подписи кода, ключ уничтожается сразу после подписи, удаление программы убирает сертификат. Обновления ставятся тем же установщиком, сам, без запроса UAC.

Если браузер или Windows предупреждают. Новый выпуск скачивают пока редко, а подписи удостоверяющего центра у программы нет, поэтому перед установкой будут предупреждения — это ожидаемо. Edge: в загрузках «…» → «Сохранить» → в окне «Удалить ▾» → «Все равно сохранить». Chrome: «Скачать подозрительный файл». При запуске Windows может показать «Система Windows защитила ваш компьютер» — «Подробнее» → «Выполнить в любом случае». Затем жёлтый запрос UAC — «Да». Сверить файл можно по SHA-256 выше.

Не проверено приборами: Windows 10 — стенды работали на Windows 11; Word, Chrome и Telegram для письма со знаками над и под буквой не мерены (мерены Блокнот, поле Windows и RichEdit; Edge — без программы). Проверено на чистой виртуальной Windows 11: обновление 0.104.0 → 1.0.0 само, откат версии без окна и версии без нужной DLL, случаи тайского, киргизского, польского, французского и арабского.

Lang Switcher 1.0.0 — Thai, Hindi, Vietnamese, Polish, French and Arabic without losses

Lang Switcher fixes a word typed in the wrong keyboard layout. Press the hotkey — Pause/Break by default: the last typed word is converted to the other layout and the window's layout switches; press again and the original text comes back byte for byte. Selected text is converted through the clipboard with every clipboard format restored. The program does one thing and lives in the tray.

The first version with ordinary numbering: 1.0.0. From now on the first number grows with big changes, the second with new features, the third with fixes.

What changed.

• Scripts with marks above and below the letter. In Thai, Hindi, Vietnamese and similar scripts the program used to erase too much: a Thai word was replaced together with the space and the character before it. Now the replacement takes exactly the word — as many letters as Windows sees in it (Thai สวัสดี is 4 letters, Hindi नमस्ते is 3).
• The right Alt in the English layout. Polish mąka typed in the English layout with the keys of Polish (Programmers), Kyrgyz сөз and other letters on the right Alt are no longer lost: such a key press is a letter, not a command. The left Alt, and the right Alt with keys that give no letter, are still commands.
• Dead keys. être typed in the English layout with the keys of French ([etre) becomes être, and ê goes back to [e — the way Windows itself would type them. The same for Spanish canción and Portuguese não.
• Arabic and other layouts with a ligature key. Selected لاث (be typed in the Arabic layout) now becomes be, not ghe: text you have just typed is converted by the keys you really pressed, pasted text by letter statistics of English. The key presses are kept for this only for such layouts, only in memory, for no longer than a minute and until you move to another field; for Russian and English nothing changes — nothing is kept.
• An update now checks that the new version really works: the program's window has to appear and stay. Otherwise the previous version is put back.
• What did not change: the hotkey, the look of the windows and the settings of the program, the settings file (schema 8), the author's signature.

Install. Windows 10 or 11. If you have 0.104.0, there is nothing to do — the program updates itself within a day. Otherwise download LangSwitcher-setup.exe (3,660,288 bytes, SHA-256 A7E36E7763DEAA709297C8ADB73D002CA0C527986B7B08CDAFE45C8E2F10D0A2) and run it. Installs over 0.104.0, 0.103.0, 0.102.0, 0.101.0, 0.100.0, 0.99.0, 0.98.0, 0.97.0, 0.96.0, 0.95.0, 0.94.0, 0.93.0, 0.92.0, 0.91.0 and 0.90.0.

About the signature, honestly. As in 0.104.0: the program and the installer are signed with the author's own certificate, "Panda Koder", not with one issued by a certification authority, so the UAC prompt of the installer is yellow and names the publisher as unknown. The full version also works in windows of programs run as administrator thanks to the certificate the installer makes on your computer: for code signing only, the key is destroyed right after signing, and uninstalling removes the certificate. Updates are installed by the same installer, on their own, without a UAC prompt.

If the browser or Windows warns you. A new release is still rarely downloaded and the program has no certificate from a certification authority, so you will see warnings before installing — this is expected. Edge: in Downloads, "…" → "Keep" → in the dialog, "Delete ▾" → "Keep anyway". Chrome: "Download suspicious file". When you run it, Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" — "More info" → "Run anyway". Then the yellow UAC prompt — "Yes". You can check the file against the SHA-256 above.

Not checked by instruments: Windows 10 — the test benches ran on Windows 11; Word, Chrome and messengers were not measured for scripts with marks above and below the letter (Notepad, the Windows text field and RichEdit were; Edge only without the program). Checked on a clean virtual Windows 11: the self-update 0.104.0 → 1.0.0, rolling back a version with no window and one missing a DLL, the cases of Thai, Kyrgyz, Polish, French and Arabic.
