Lang Switcher 0.103.0 — мастер обращения ведёт туда, где можно написать

Lang Switcher исправляет слово, набранное в неверной раскладке клавиатуры. Нажмите горячую клавишу — по умолчанию Pause/Break — последнее набранное слово перекодируется в другую раскладку, а раскладка окна переключится. Нажмите ещё раз — исходный текст вернётся побитово. Выделенный текст перекодируется через буфер обмена с восстановлением всех его форматов. Программа делает одну вещь, живёт в трее, ничего не отправляет, не скачивает и не запускает.

Что изменилось.

• Мастер «Написать автору…» ведёт туда, где можно написать. Обращение об ошибке — в нём журнал программы и сведения о компьютере — он предлагает отправить автору письмом: адрес почты на экране, кнопки «Скопировать текст» и «Скопировать адрес»; программа ничего не отправляет и не открывает почтовую программу. Пожелание несёт только ваш текст и версию программы, а его кнопка копирует текст и открывает место для обсуждения — при русском и украинском интерфейсе тему Lang Switcher в группе автора в Telegram, при остальных двенадцати языках — GitHub Issues программы. Раньше мастер открывал канал автора, а в канале читателю написать некуда.
• Письмо «Спасибо» (через месяц после установки) просит рассказать о программе там же — в группе или в GitHub Issues, — и его кнопка «Открыть группу» / «Open GitHub Issues» ведёт туда. «Открыть канал» в «Что нового» и в окне «От автора» по-прежнему открывает канал: там новости.
• Пауза между событиями замены (inter_event_delay_ms — только в файле настроек, по умолчанию 0) теперь не больше 250 мс вместо 1000: Windows с версии 10 1709 даёт перехватчику клавиатуры не больше секунды, и пауза в секунду была равна всему этому сроку. Значение больше 250 в файле действует как 250, файл не переписывается. Если вы этот параметр не трогали, для вас ничего не изменилось.
• В окне «От автора» по-английски и на иврите строка о файле настроек теперь говорит, что ленту там можно выключить, а не что она выключена.
• Кнопка «Открыть страницу загрузки» и щелчок по имени программы открывают страницу сайта на языке программы: при русском и украинском интерфейсе — русскую, при остальных — английскую. Раньше при любом языке открывалась русская, а сайт переводил её на язык браузера или на язык, выбранный его кнопкой.
• Что не изменилось: горячая клавиша, перекодировка, вид окон и настройки программы, файл настроек (схема 8), подпись автора, установщик.

Установка. Windows 10 или 11. Скачайте LangSwitcher-setup.exe (3 485 568 байт, SHA-256 E9B44450CAB446A1FF48460DE355474C26E90764D69342239049C8CC4D8764C5) и запустите. Ставится поверх 0.102.0, 0.101.0, 0.100.0, 0.99.0, 0.98.0, 0.97.0, 0.96.0, 0.95.0, 0.94.0, 0.93.0, 0.92.0, 0.91.0 и 0.90.0.

Честно о подписи. Как и в 0.102.0: программа и установщик подписаны самодельным сертификатом автора «Panda Koder», а не сертификатом удостоверяющего центра, поэтому запрос UAC при запуске установщика жёлтый, а издатель в нём — «неизвестный». Полная версия работает и в окнах программ, запущенных от имени администратора, благодаря сертификату, который установщик создаёт на вашем компьютере: только для подписи кода, ключ уничтожается сразу после подписи, удаление программы убирает сертификат.

Если браузер или Windows предупреждают. Новый выпуск скачивают пока редко, а подписи удостоверяющего центра у программы нет, поэтому перед установкой будут предупреждения — это ожидаемо. Edge: в загрузках «…» → «Сохранить» → в окне «Удалить ▾» → «Все равно сохранить». Chrome: «Скачать подозрительный файл». При запуске Windows может показать «Система Windows защитила ваш компьютер» — «Подробнее» → «Выполнить в любом случае». Затем жёлтый запрос UAC — «Да». Сверить файл можно по SHA-256 выше.

Не проверено приборами: Windows 10 — стенды работали на Windows 11; письмо «Спасибо» на экране — оно показывается через месяц: шесть языков в двух темах проверены снимками окна; последний шаг мастера проверен рукой на основной машине: по-русски — письмо об ошибке (адрес, «Скопировать текст», «Скопировать адрес») и пожелание (тема в группе), по-английски — письмо об ошибке и GitHub Issues; страница загрузки и страница программы — рукой там же: по-русски адрес с ?lang=ru, по-английски — с ?lang=en.

Lang Switcher 0.103.0 — the wizard of an appeal leads where you can write

Lang Switcher fixes a word typed in the wrong keyboard layout. Press the hotkey — Pause/Break by default: the last typed word is converted to the other layout and the window's layout switches; press again and the original text comes back byte for byte. Selected text is converted through the clipboard with every clipboard format restored. The program does one thing, lives in the tray, and sends, downloads and runs nothing.

What changed.

• The "Write to the author…" wizard leads where you can write. A report of a problem — it holds the program's journal and details of your computer — it offers to send to the author by email: the address is on the screen, with the buttons "Copy the text" and "Copy the address"; the program sends nothing and opens no mail program. A suggestion carries only your text and the program's version, and its button copies the text and opens a place to discuss it — with the Russian or Ukrainian interface, the Lang Switcher topic in the author's Telegram group; with the other twelve languages, the program's GitHub Issues. The wizard used to open the author's channel, where a reader has nowhere to write.
• The "Thank you" letter (a month after installing) asks you to say how you like the program in the same place — GitHub Issues or the group — and its button "Open GitHub Issues" leads there. "Open the channel" in "What's new" and in the "From the author" window still opens the channel: the news is there.
• The pause between the events of a replacement (inter_event_delay_ms — in the settings file only, 0 by default) is now at most 250 ms instead of 1000: since version 10 1709 Windows gives a keyboard hook no more than a second, and a pause of a second was the whole of it. A value above 250 in the file acts as 250; the file is not rewritten. If you never touched this setting, nothing changed for you.
• In the "From the author" window in English and Hebrew, the line about the settings file now says the feed can be turned off there, not that it is off.
• The "Open the download page" button and a click on the program's name open the site's page in the language of the program: the Russian page with the Russian or Ukrainian interface, the English one with the others. They used to open the Russian page whatever the language, and the site moved it to the language of the browser or to the one chosen with its button.
• What did not change: the hotkey, the conversion, the look of the windows and the settings of the program, the settings file (schema 8), the author's signature, the installer.

Install. Windows 10 or 11. Download LangSwitcher-setup.exe (3,485,568 bytes, SHA-256 E9B44450CAB446A1FF48460DE355474C26E90764D69342239049C8CC4D8764C5) and run it. Installs over 0.102.0, 0.101.0, 0.100.0, 0.99.0, 0.98.0, 0.97.0, 0.96.0, 0.95.0, 0.94.0, 0.93.0, 0.92.0, 0.91.0 and 0.90.0.

About the signature, honestly. As in 0.102.0: the program and the installer are signed with the author's own certificate, "Panda Koder", not with one issued by a certification authority, so the UAC prompt of the installer is yellow and names the publisher as unknown. The full version also works in windows of programs run as administrator thanks to the certificate the installer makes on your computer: for code signing only, the key is destroyed right after signing, and uninstalling removes the certificate.

If the browser or Windows warns you. A new release is still rarely downloaded and the program has no certificate from a certification authority, so you will see warnings before installing — this is expected. Edge: in Downloads, "…" → "Keep" → in the dialog, "Delete ▾" → "Keep anyway". Chrome: "Download suspicious file". When you run it, Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" — "More info" → "Run anyway". Then the yellow UAC prompt — "Yes". You can check the file against the SHA-256 above.

Not checked by instruments: Windows 10 — the test benches ran on Windows 11; the "Thank you" letter on the screen — it is shown a month after installing: six languages in both themes were checked on snapshots of the window; the last step of the wizard was checked by hand on the main machine: in Russian, a report of a problem by email (the address, "Copy the text", "Copy the address") and a suggestion (the topic in the group); in English, a report of a problem by email and GitHub Issues; the download page and the program's page by hand there too: the address with ?lang=ru in Russian, with ?lang=en in English.
