This project contains files related to the work on the Analysis of the Lakh Clean Midi dataset. You should go to the https://lakhcleananalysis.sourceforge.io/ web site for a further explanation. Statistical information has been gathered from this collection and is provided in the cvs and ods files. In addition, some research was done in clustering this collection. Related files for this work is provided in the lakhUMAP.zip file. The lakhUMAP.zip contains umapPlot.tcl, plotCenters.tcl and all the data files (csv and txt files) that are needed. To run the tcl/tk scripts umapPlot.tcl or plotCenters.tcl you need the tcl/tk interpreter 8.5 or higher installed on your system. From the command,PowerShell, or terminal (for Linux) window, you would cd into the folder containing the tcl/tk script and then enter wish umapPlot.tcl or wish plotCenters.tcl Click the help button in the application and read the LakhCleanDataSet.pdf for explanations. Jupyter.zip contains the Jupyter notebooks that were used to produce the data files for the above tcl/tk scripts.
