Ktechlab is a great circuit simulation project https://github.com/ktechlab/ktechlab/wiki, but due to QT versions change it has been abandoned by its developers years ago. Still new Ktechlab version does not simulate circuits an the old one is not included in Linux distros repos, almost nowhere accept Fedora FEL. My idea is just to build the old working ktechlab-0.3.7, qt3.3 and kdelibs-3.5.10 to /opt just to keep working. Opt location makes this bundle portable enough between Linux_amd64 distros, e.g., built on my Gentoo desktop it was copied to Ubuntu-14.04 (at my work) and the only missing dependency was libjpeg, but it was very easy to install with apt. qt3.tar.xz archive should be unpacked to /opt. Anyway you can wish to rebuild everything from scratch, to do that, read some tips in qt3_build file. Next time I shoud just make a patch. TODO: - static builds - build script - clean unused kde-scpecific files When it is possible, I would like to use the current version just when it is ready. I would appreciate some help with testing and build refactoring. Please mail to everhigh@rambler.ru
