To install an extension in Firefox or Chromium browsers, it is easiest to visit the browser's
Extension or Add-On Store, and search for "Kiwix JS". These versions will automatically
update. If you prefer to install the extension manually, follow these instructions:

- Download the extension file (`*.crx` for Chrome or Edge; `*.xpi` for Firefox);
- In Chromium browsers, open Settings -> Extensions -> Manage Extensions. Turn on
  "Developer mode", and drag-and-drop the extension file into the browser;
- In Firefox, you can load an extension with Manage Your Extensions ->
  Install Add-on from file, and then pick the `.xpi` file. You can also drag-and-drop.
