KineticaRT V4 Files

Installation on a Windows PC and First Steps

A. Download Help.zip, extract files and run help.exe. This creates the folder C:\Program Files\RHS Harntec\KineticaRT and installs the help file (KineticaRT.chm). A Help shortcut is added to the start menu under KineticaRT. It is probably best to read at least the first few help topics before proceeding.

B. Install KineticaRT from the help (Installation - KineticaRT Application (core program)). A KineticaRT shortcut is added to the start menu under KineticaRT and to the desktop.

C. Install demonstration Projects as required from the help (Demonstrations). The following Demonstration Projects are provided:
	Basic Demonstration
	Access Demonstration
	Pictures Demonstration
	Variables (Channels) Demonstration
	Dialog Boxes Demonstration
	Expressions Demonstration
	Display Architecture Demonstration
	XY Graph Demonstration
	Rake Trend Demonstration
	Recorder Demonstration
	Password Demonstration
	Registry Demonstration
Shortcuts are added to the start menu under KineticaRT.
When KineticaRT is running, select demonstration projects from File/Select Project/...
The File sub-menu may be on a fixed horizontal menu or an alt-click menu (depending on the way the demonstration Project is configured).

To remove the need for a software protection dongle:
Download core.dll and replace C:\Program Files\RHS Harntec\KineticaRT\core.dll with it.

Modules.zip contains optional modules and drivers. If required these should be copied into C:\Program Files\RHS Harntec\KineticaRT.
