The aim of the project is to provide a fully-functional and up-to-date linux kernel optimized for the models indicated above (ACER ASPIRE ONE zg5 110 110l 150 and similar...). The resulting kernel packages will be smaller than the standard packages distributed throught ubuntu traditional PPAs, and they will include optimization for the Intel Atom Processor and many other features. So, if you want a light and fast kernel, just compile kernel with the configuration found on this site. If you meet problem or you want to suggest a correction, please tell me. Thank in advice for your patience and enjoy linux!

User Reviews

  • hi, thanks for the review. Maybe you haven't read the name of the config file in the download section... it says "3.11.4" not 3.8.*". Best Regards, Patrick
  • Nice idea but when compiling kernel sources 3.8.0.32.47 with default options that are not included in config, linux does not boot. Please include an updated one or tell which kernel source version is the config file related to. Best regards.
