KeePassium is a password‐manager app for iOS and macOS that is fully compatible with the KeePass family of encrypted database files. It is open-source under GPLv3 yet offered as a polished commercial app, offering a blend of transparency and user-friendly design. Users retain full control of their password database location (cloud or local), while KeePassium handles smooth synchronization and secure access with Face ID/Touch ID or passcode. The app supports complex encryption standards, including AES, ChaCha20, Twofish and Argon2, and works with KDBX3, KDBX4, and KDB (KeePass 1.x) formats. Because it integrates with the iOS Files system, it supports many storage providers (iCloud Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, SFTP, WebDAV) with minimal setup, making it flexible for personal, family or team use. Additional advanced features such as TOTP codes, YubiKey challenge-response, file attachments, custom fields and icons make it useful for power users.
