A KeePass plugin that downloads and stores favicons. A favicon is the little icon / logo used to identify many websites, typically displayed in the browser's address bar, bookmark list and on tabs.
- Download icons from the websites in your KeePass entries
- Make KeePass entries look more unique and easier to tell apart
- Download for an individual entry, an entire group/folder, or an arbitrary selection of entries
Using in Keepass 2.28 and works wonderfully! You right click an item and select Download Favicons. How much simpler could it be? Most of my entries already have the URL field populated but I've noticed it even works on those entries that don't have the URL populated as long as the name of the entry is a valid FQDN like blogs.msdn.com. Very clever plugin! My only worry is how much bloat this might add to my database but time will tell.
Very handy, simple to use, and soothes my inner OCD-maximus dork. Thanks Dev ^_^
Works just fine for me in 2.30. No need to configure just drop in the folder and let Keepass load it up. You can do all your entries at the same time if you select them all. Great little plugin!
