SketchGlide is a personal native whiteboard made by Karim Eldamaty. This 0.2 Test adds a Windows 11 Intel/AMD x64 download, refreshed Mac branding and editable app source. Formerly Karim Ink; the existing repository and website URLs remain stable.

Downloads
- Mac: Apple Silicon, macOS 14+ target. DMG or ZIP. Ad hoc signed and unnotarized; macOS may block first launch. Read READ-ME-FIRST.txt and keep security protections enabled.
- Windows Test: Windows 11 Intel/AMD x64, self-contained ZIP. Extract the complete folder and open SketchGlide.exe. Unsigned; Windows may warn about the publisher. Native OCR can require Microsoft's official x64 Visual C++ runtime.
- Editable source: native Mac code in
macos/, Windows code inwindows/. Original code is MIT; dependency/model notices remain separate. Fork it, build it and contribute improvements. Mac source ZIP is also included; GitHub's source archives contain both platforms.
Compare downloads with SHA256SUMS.txt. Earlier Mac 0.1 files keep their original release/checksums.
Features and improvements
Ten adjustable brushes and ten backgrounds; deliberate selection/lasso, shapes and straightening; rulers and millimetre dimensions; 380 maths/engineering diagrams; single-symbol recognition with 1,098 command classes; local OCR review; editable notes/formulas, calculator and graphs; simple 3D sketchbook; local editable files, image/PDF export and clipboard; light/dark glass panels; optional OpenAI API/local-model routes; Craft exchange and Notion-friendly HTML copies.
Windows build/cache references, generated pressure rounding, scoped URL validation, oversized inherited controls, upside-down symbol thumbnails and English/Arabic text export were corrected. The website adds phone layouts, controlled looping/scroll motion, real synthetic app visuals, a one-minute promo and confirmed PayPal support link. School/course marketing has been removed.
Verification and limits
Mac: native release build, isolated shipping and extracted-package launches, Core ML inference, signature/package checks and production-source harnesses on Apple Silicon macOS 27.2. Windows: 30 portable core checks, 87 workbench checks, 191 service assertions across 15 mocked cases; 16 native packaged checks in the logged-in desktop under x64 emulation on Windows ARM, including local recognition, exports, bilingual text, clipboard, DPAPI and actual 3D rendering. Website: 42 fresh browser checks across phone/tablet/desktop sizes, motion controls and video playback.
A physical Intel/AMD PC and physical drawing tablets remain untested. Live paid cloud services, locked 120 FPS, older macOS runtime support and battery/thermal performance are unverified. This is an early Test, not a promise that every defect is fixed. Review OCR/AI output and back up editable drawings. Recognition handles single symbols, not whole handwritten equations; 3D is a concept tool, not full CAD. Windows PDF export is raster. Native live embedding/two-way Notion sync, multiplayer and real circuit/beam simulation are not included.
The Creator Kit provides five timed video concepts, scripts/prompts/captions/subtitles/posting links plus two silent one-minute edited promotional clips. Those clips use original vector animation and a real app screenshot with made-up drawings; they are not generative-AI footage.
Setup and publishing follow-up — 12 October
The separate SketchGlide-0.2.0-Windows-Setup-Helpers.zip updates optional setup scripts. Read its included instructions and compare SHA256SUMS-Setup-Helpers.txt before replacing the three BuildSupport scripts in your complete extracted app. It fixes partial-move rollback, preserves licences/receipts and rejects missing runtime/model/OCR/stencil files; 17 isolated Windows setup-function checks pass. The native app and original application ZIP are unchanged.
A custom Scoop bucket now provides a pinned manifest for the complete Windows ZIP. Its schema, checksum and contents are verified; actual Scoop installation/uninstallation remains untested. This is not an official default-bucket listing.
The publishing guide explains the remaining Store steps and costs. No Microsoft Store or Mac App Store approval is claimed.
