I have been using the latest version of JTDX for some time now and it is my favourite program for digital modes. My favourite modes are FT8 and FT4. Where I live we use FT8 on 23cm 1296.174mhz, unfortunately you can't select FT8 for 23cm on JTDX. What I would like see is to be able to select FT8 on 1296.174mhz on JTDX and this would be perfect for my operating. John

After many days of trial and error, I finally got the thing setup to my liking. Seems to decode more than WSJT and other than the fact that current instructions/user manual is non-existent, it has been worth the effort in my hit and miss approach. I would think that the creators of this software would see the need for a decent user manual that explains the use of every setting. I consider myself about average on being able to figure out computer related things myself, but a user manual based on the latest version would certainly have saved a lot of hair pulling and threats to throw in the towel.

Very nice additions to the software. really like the layout, especially the band select in a bar as apposed to drop down. One issue that prevents me from using this software to its full advantage. When using Omni rig 1.2 with IC-7610 and JTDX set up to split operation (rig). If you tap the 7610's sub vfo, or select main/sub the vfo bounces from B to A and back to B and advances both VFO's 2kc. It does not do this in WSJTX or WSJTX_improved. Fix that and its solid as far as im concerned.

This is much better than the original JTDX. Love both the functionality and the improvement in the GUI over JTDX.

Been using it heavily for a week now. Solid. Impressive.

I would like a fourth tab for the filters that would speed up the operation again. On the far left, the power and SWR display sometimes jumps back and forth depending on the SWR value. Thank you for the finally an ergonomic surface. I really hope that it will be further developed. Vy73 de DL7PJ Peter
