  • Fix Record serialization and default value handling, including nullable empty records ()?, non-nullable records with defaults, single-positional record defaults, record and non-String map literals in @JsonKey(defaultValue: ...), and conditional ? : constructor defaults.

  • Prefer JsonConverters with matching nullability when both nullable and non-nullable converters for the same type are present. (#1339)
  • Fix field discovery, inheritance, and class configuration edge cases, including covariant and setter-only overrides, hashCode/runtimeType overrides, createFactory: false with includeToJson: true, disallowUnrecognizedKeys with includeFromJson: false, generic includeIfNull: false map entries, duplicate fromJson key detection, and createPerFieldToJson when a field is named Object.
  • Fix createJsonSchema default value handling for non-empty List, Set, and Map constants, int defaults on num/double fields, and function tear-off defaults, as well as nullable self-references and private fields.
  • Fix JsonConverter, @JsonKey(fromJson: ..., toJson: ...), JsonHelper, and extension type edge cases across generic converters, nullable fields, constructor parameter annotations, and custom fromJson/toJson signatures.
  • Fix JsonKey.explicitJsonNullWhenNonNullField for Record, Function, DateTime, generic argument factories, and toJson callbacks named value.
  • Allow build 5.0.0.
  • Require sdk: ^3.12.0.
