JShruthi 0.5 ================================================================== INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS: -------------------------- Windows. (Use JShruthi.exe to extract the files) Mac may be supported - but not tested. (download the JShruthi Java Run Time (JRE 1.5 or above) HOW TO USE: ----------- Double click on JShruthi.jar Select "Use your own Shruthi box" - if you want to use your own shruthi box to set the Base Note (Shadjama - S). Click Start button Select your Sruthi - if you want JShruthi to play the notes. You can choose the Octaves, Kattai to be used as the Base Note (Shadjama - S) Play the Shruthi. Once you are happy with the shruthi - Click Accept as Shruthi. The note you sang / played will become the base note (Shadjama - S). From this point on - any note played/sang will be shown by the pointer with reference to the base note. You can select different drivers (varying from your speaker, microphone etc) If you do not wish to see the "Shruthi Controls" and would always use your own Shruthi box - you can change "start_mode.inp" content to 0. Next time Shruthi controls will disappear from the user interface.
