jSCSI is a cross-platform Java implementation of an iSCSI initiator. jSCSI thus enables Java to directly access and serve block devices over the Internet by natively speaking the iSCSI protocol. The initiator supports software RAID.
THIS PROJECT HAS MOVED TO GITHUB!!!
I think this will be the direction of Java. With the advent of ISCSI Devices for storage. Why bother creating files or interacting as a layer'd file system when Java can directly access it's own file system. Now to find a EXT2/ZFS/BTRS or database that will create the file system. :)
