Jevgrep now supports Windows with Node.js 22 or newer. npm installation accepts Windows, credentials and cache use the Windows profile directories unless XDG overrides are set, and jg skill launches the Windows npm installer correctly. Config and cache paths share one resolver so stored credentials and cached answers stay excluded from source retrieval.
This release also paces TypeSafe calls against its per-second request and token limits to reduce avoidable rate-limit responses (#46).
Windows CI tests a freshly packed npm installation on Node 22 and 24. Linux release checks and native macOS installed journeys verify the same supported CLI behavior.
Thank you @makiisthenes for the original Windows support in [#31] and @AndrewKirkovski for the build fixes, shared storage paths, and hands-on Windows testing in [#36]. Their commits and authorship are preserved in [#47]. Thanks to everyone who reported the installation problem and helped test it in [#5].
Upgrade with:
:::sh
npm install --global @dzhng/jevgrep@latest
