Have been using JCL for a while in Delphi 2010 and more recently in XE3. Getting a meaningful stack dump when a program errors saves a significant amount of head scratching, especially when remote users report problems after the event. It fails to compile under Delphi XE4 (looks due to changes in System.AnsiStrings) - is there a planned release date for this or should I change it myself ?
The reasons for my thumbs down are three hours spent in the struggle with "recommended" automated installer and obscure manual installation instructions. Installer tends to construct really really long relative pathnames eg: ..\..\..\..\..\..\..\..\DOCUME~1\RADSTU~1\LIBRAR~1\JEDI\jcl\jcl\lib\d7 instead of indeed shorter absolute pathnames, causing a buffer overflow in Delphi 7's DCC. Manual installation doc seems to be not updated since version 1.x
I like it! This project well help me!
